BACKGROUND & RATIONALE

Asanteman is home to a vibrant community where Asante women have played a historic role in trade, entrepreneurship, and leadership across Ghana and the diaspora. The ABLE Summit creates a dedicated platform for them to connect, showcase their businesses, explore opportunities, and celebrate their achievements.
Building on the success of the Africa-UK Diaspora Trade and Investment Summit, Bold Solutions Group presents the ABLE Summit as an annual celebration of Asante women in business and leadership. Inspired by Yaa Asantewaa, the Summit champions their courage, enterprise, and leadership while fostering networking, investment, and collaboration.

Programme Structure

Segment 1 — Business Expo

The expo floor runs throughout the day and serves as the commercial heart of the Summit. Exhibitors include women-led SMEs, corporate sponsors, financial institutions, government agencies, and development organisations. Participants can showcase products and services, meet potential partners, and connect with investors.

Segment 2 — Conference & Masterclasses

A curated programme of keynote addresses, panel discussions, and masterclasses brings together leading voices in business, policy, finance, and culture. Sessions are designed to inform, inspire, and generate actionable takeaways for attendees.

Segment 3 — The ABLE Awards Gala

The evening closes with the flagship ABLE Awards Gala — a formal celebration recognising trailblazing Asante women across all spheres of life. This is the emotional and cultural centrepiece of the Summit, designed to inspire the next generation and create a lasting institutional record of achievement.

The ABLE Awards are awarded to Asante women who have demonstrated exceptional impact, courage, and leadership in their respective fields. Nominees are drawn from the public, vetted by an independent panel, and selected on the basis of documented achievement and community impact.
